The Club at Cams Hall Estate elevates wellness experience with brand-new health club facilities

Latest News

The Club at Cams Hall Estate opened a brand-new swimming pool and spa facilities on 1st April, completing the country club’s new £7.5 million investment into their health and wellness offering aimed exclusively at adults. Nestled in the heart of Fareham, the new facilities coupled with recent bunker improvements on the golf course solidify the Club’s standing as the region’s number one destination for golf, health, and wellness.

Pool and spa facilities now open

The new pool and spa areas comprise a 16-metre pool, hydrotherapy pool, sauna and steam room with drench shower and ice experience. This adds to the expansive first-floor gym furnished with the latest Technogym equipment, providing an ideal space for members to tackle their fitness goals. Additionally, the Club features two dedicated studio areas hosting over 50 fitness and holistic classes per week, including Yoga, Group Cycle, and Les Mills Body Pump.

Open weekend

To entice new members, the Club at Cams Hall Estate is set to host an open weekend between 26th & 28th of April, a free weekend for both members and prospective members to showcase the new wellness experiences now on offer. The Health Club will be officially opened by English Professional Golfer and Club Company Ambassador Cara Gainer who will be in attendance on the weekend, which will also feature a multitude of activities to highlight the new facilities including taster classes, gym challenges, wellness workshops and more.

Member retention through digital innovation

Cams Hall Estate members are offered access to a Technogym App, which acts as a digital home for their training programmes, connects with the gym machines, and allows fitness staff to stay in touch with messages and updates.

Cams Hall Estate is a luxury club, and the new gym had to be a premium offer. Luiz explains that The Club Company partnered with Technogym not just for the high-quality aesthetics and advanced functionality of the equipment, but for the digital expertise.

“The Technogym App is full of useful functions and is so easy for staff and members to use,” said Luiz. “It helps us maintain a strong retention rate, because we can track member activity, offer training content when people are away, and get in touch if they lapse. We have a 60% return rate for members who have been away for more than two weeks, and a lot of this is down to Technogym App.”

A varied group exercise timetable offering everything from indoor cycling to Yoga and Les Mills favourites ensures that there’s something for every member to enjoy, no matter where they are on their fitness journey. Stay tuned for the launch of our tranquil new pool and spa areas, coming soon to The Club at Cams Hall Estate.

The adult-only club goes beyond fitness: the bunker improvement project on The Club at Cams Hall Estate’s luscious golf course, spearheaded by international Golf Course Architect Jonathan Gaunt, enhances both aesthetics and playability, making it a unique destination for golf, health, and relaxation in the local community.

Additionally, members can also look forward to the opening of the stylish Orangery restaurant in mid-April, and the poolside garden in early May where guests will be able to enjoy a calming atmosphere – providing the perfect setting to relax by the fire pit as we step into the warmer months.
