The Club at Mapledurham and Witney Lakes both underwent health club transformations to provide members with some exceptional new facilities this summer.
Following a £1.5m refurbishment, Mapledurham members enjoyed a beautifully remodelled swimming pool, fully refurbished gym, all new changing rooms, a refreshed reception area and stunning new pergola with views over the course.
The gym received a full refurbishment including floors, walls and ceilings, ventilation and lighting as well as brand-new Technogym equipment to power workouts and track members’ progress.
The pool was drained and retiled with an upgraded ventilation system and decorating, and all floor tiling was replaced, in addition to a new spa, poolside shower and an additional toilet on poolside. The health and fitness changing rooms also received a complete makeover to include all new floors and ceilings, lockers, vanity units, showers and cubicles.
A beautiful new pergola created a natural bridge between the indoor and outdoor space, giving the patio a fresh, modern feel and creating an additional entertaining area come rain or shine.
Witney Lakes
Over at Witney Lakes, a £1.6 million investment saw a fully refurbished gym, all-new changing rooms and refurbished spa facilities. These included a new sauna with Himalayan salt wall, upgraded steam room with feature amethyst stone, soaker showers for a tropical and artic refresh, and ice fountain – all situated directly off poolside for ultimate relaxation.
