The Club Company is pleased to be partnered with professional golfer Cara Gainer for the second year running as she continues her meteoric rise in the world of women’s golf. This follows her first-ever Ladies' European Tour win in February 2025, seeing Cara standing on top of the Order of Merit.
The continuing partnership represents The Club Company’s commitment to championing its members and the local community, ensuring everyone has a chance to achieve their own version of ‘greatness.’
On Wednesday 26th March Witney Lakes Resort was bathed in sunshine for a members’ golf Masterclass with Cara – an invite-only event open to 30 members from across The Club Company collection.
The day was met with high praise and thoroughly enjoyed by members. Cara returned from a fantastic start to her season to host a short game clinic, giving insights into how she approaches certain shots and tips to help members with their game.
Members had the chance to ask Cara any questions in a Q&A before enjoying a delicious buffet. The afternoon session saw the opportunity to go out and play 9 holes, with the highlight a ‘beat the pro’ challenge on the 6th hole. There were three winners on the day, and Cara spent time with each group taking photos.
As the first in a series of events with Cara this year, the Masterclass was a welcome reminder of the quality of opportunities we’re able to offer members as a collection of clubs.
